In order to implement the hardware metal projects, our engineers will carefully select the processes for implementing various products.
The common processing techniques for hardware products currently include:
1. CNC machining
CNC turning, milling, punching,CNC cutting processing refers to the process of cutting a work piece into the desired shape and size through a cutting tool. Common cutting processes include turning, milling, drilling, etc.
Among them, turning is the use of cutting tools on a lathe to process rotating work pieces, which can produce various diameter, length, and shape shaft parts;
Milling is the use of cutting tools on a milling machine to rotate and move work pieces, which can produce various flat shapes and convex concave surfaces of parts;
Drilling is the use of cutting tools on a drilling machine to drill holes in work pieces, which can produce holes of various diameters and depths.
Chengshuo has used our own CNC machining center, which can provide one-stop services for customized high-precision products with different raw materials.
2. Stamping processing – Stamping center
Stamping processing refers to the process of stamping metal sheets into the desired shape through stamping molds. Common stamping processes include cutting, punching, bending, etc. Among them, cutting is to cut the metal sheet according to a certain size to obtain the required size of flat parts. Punching is to use the mold on the punching machine to punch the metal sheet, which can obtain various shapes and sizes of holes; Bending is the use of a bending machine to bend metal sheets, resulting in various shapes and angles of parts.
Stamping die is a special process equipment used in cold stamping processing to process materials (metal or non-metal) into parts (or semi-finished products), called cold stamping die (commonly known as cold stamping die)
Common classification of stamping molds:
(1) A single process mold is a mold that completes only one stamping process in one stroke of a press.
(2) A composite mold has only one workstation, and in one stroke of the press, it is a mold that completes two or more stamping processes simultaneously on the same workstation.
(3) Progressive die (also known as continuous die) has two or more workstations in the direction of raw material feeding. It is a mold that completes two or more stamping processes on different workstations in one stroke of the press.
(4) The transfer mold combines the characteristics of single process molds and progressive molds. By using a robotic arm transfer system, the product can be quickly transferred within the mold, greatly improving production efficiency, reducing production costs, saving material costs, and ensuring stable and reliable quality.
3. Welding processing
Welding processing refers to the process of connecting two or more metal materials through heating, melting, or pressurization. Common welding processes include arc welding, fluorine arc welding, gas welding, etc. Among them, arc welding uses the arc heat generated by the welding machine to melt and connect metal materials together; ammonia arc welding uses the heat generated by the ammonia arc under the protection of a shielding gas to melt and connect metal materials together; gas welding uses the flame heat generated by the combustion of gas to melt and connect metal materials together.
4. Bending processing – bending center
Bending process refers to the process of bending metal materials into the desired shape through a bending machine. Common bending processes include V-bending, U-bending, Z-bending, etc. Among them, V-shaped bending refers to bending the metal sheet at a certain angle to form a V-shaped shape; U-shaped bending refers to bending the metal sheet at a certain angle to form a U-shaped shape; Z-bending is the process of bending a metal sheet at a certain angle to form a Z-shape
5. Die casting processing – Die casting center
Generally use for making rough hardware products. Die casting is the abbreviation for pressure casting. It is a method of filling the cavity of a die casting mold with liquid or semi liquid metal at high pressure and rapidly solidifying under pressure to obtain a casting. The die casting mold used is called a die casting mold.
6. Wire cutting processing
Chengshuo Hardware has its own wire cutting equipment. Line cutting is an abbreviation for line cutting, referring to a processing method. It developed on the basis of electric discharge perforation and forming processing. It is a processing method that uses moving metal wires (molybdenum wire, copper wire, or alloy wire) as electrode wires, and generates high temperatures through pulse electric discharge between the electrode wires and the workpiece, causing the metal to melt or vaporize, forming cutting seams, and thus cutting out the parts.
After various processing, the product undergoes various surface treatments.
Surface treatment refers to the process of surface cleaning, rust removal, anti-corrosion, spraying and other treatments for hardware components. Common surface treatments include pickling, electroplating, spraying, etc. Among them, acid washing is the use of acidic solutions to corrode and clean the surface of hardware components, removing oxides and dirt on the surface. Electroplating is the use of electrolysis to deposit metal ions on the surface of hardware components to form a protective film and improve their corrosion resistance; Spraying is the use of spraying equipment to evenly spray paint onto the surface of hardware components, forming a protective film to enhance their aesthetics and weather resistance.
